Quillbook Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use Quillbook, a cash book and expense tracker for businesses and their teams. Quillbook is provided by Quillsail ("we"). By using the app you agree to these terms. Questions: hello@quillsail.com.

Your account

• You sign in with your Google account. Keep access to it secure: anyone who can use it can use Quillbook as you.
• You must be at least 18, or old enough to enter a contract where you live.

Your data

• Your businesses, books, entries and photos belong to you and your business. We don't sell them or use them for advertising. The Privacy Policy explains how we handle them.
• The owner (Primary Admin) of a business decides who can see and change its books. Admins can add and remove people. Check who you invite: anyone with an invite link can join once until it expires.
• Quillbook is a record-keeping tool. It is not accounting, tax or legal advice. Check important figures yourself.

Acceptable use

• Don't use Quillbook for anything illegal, to store other people's data without the right to, or to try to break into other accounts or our servers.
• We may suspend accounts that break these rules or put other users at risk.

Paid plans

Some features may need a paid plan in the future. Prices, what each plan includes and how to cancel will be shown in the app before you pay. Payments go through Google Play and follow Google Play's refund policy. You can cancel any time in Google Play; you keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for.

Availability

We work to keep Quillbook running and your data safe, with automatic sync and backups by our cloud provider. The app is provided "as is": we can't promise it will never be interrupted or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits, from using or not being able to use the app. Export your books to Excel or PDF regularly if you rely on them.

Ending use

You can stop using Quillbook and delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account, or as described on the account deletion page.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is important, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect.
